Peppers have a limited comfort zone: ~60°–90°F (16°–32°C) Sow indoors 8 weeks before transplanting. Sow ¼” deep in a 20-row seed flat. Provide 80–90°F (27–32°C) bottom heat for germination. Provide ample full-spectrum, supplemental lighting. Bump them up into 50- or 72-cell trays. Grow on at 70°F (21°C) days and 60°F (16°C) nights.
