Gourmet Dried Herbs
We are a small sustainable farm in Columbiana, Alabama growing and selling nursery plants as well as specialty foods through our online store. This is the fifth year of planting, nurturing and harvesting of over six different Gourmet Culinary Herbs. It started with our vibrant Rosemary shrubs that simply thrive in our environment. It was certainly the inspiration for the other herbs to come. Flat leaf parsley was this springs project planting a small crop of Italian Essence, Big Italy and other dark green varieties. The cool thing about this crop is that it will support quite a few harvest throughout the year, allowing for the core principal of these dried herbs, to 'only take what the plant allows' allowing the plant to rebound until the next harvest.
